Paper Variety Card Sketch Challenge

Where did the time go? I haven't posted since Monday! Wow....

Paper Variety's challenge this week was a card sketch. It came at the perfect time as I needed to make a birthday card for my sister in law.

I used an SRM sticker again. I'm telling you, they are SSSOOO handy to have!

I have put locks on the kids sliding closet doors. You know those rubber door stops? Yeah, they are fantastic for sliding closet doors. I put them up high where Peyton can't reach them. Now I don't worry about them quite as much when they are playing in their rooms. I could hear them busy doing 'something' the other day. Then Peyton came to me and said, very excitedly, 'come look at my out house Mommy, come look, quick'. Yes, he said out house. I'm not sure where he got that from, but he as stuck to it. There is no changing it to fort or play house or anything else. This is what I found:

Sorry for the blury picture. *someone* changed the settings on my camera. *ahem* that someone being the smallest person in the house! Anyhow...Peyton had taken ALL the toys from his rooms that weren't locked in the closet and dumped them in the corner, he then proceeded to put all the stuffed animals and blankets in the corner. Both kids would climb up there, bury themselves and jump off the top (not Maddy wouldn't jump but she said 'weee' as she crawled down!). Notice the curtains....so fun! My mom made them. I still am debating where I want to put the hooks to pull them back.

We are headed to a specialist for Maddy tomorrow morning. She has major issues 'going'. It breaks my heart to hear her cry and scream in pain when she's trying to go. So its definitely time to get things figured out. I'm really not looking forward to it as I have a feeling the tests will be torture to her. :-( Its hard watching your kids cry in pain and know there isn't anything you can do to help them. :-(
