Grandpa Joe & Oompa Loompa

I couldn't resist posting these pictures right away. The Madras Branch dressed up as Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. The did a fabulous job with costumes and decorating their branch. Here is Peyton with Chris (Grandpa Joe) and Teri (Oompa Loompa).

Pumpkin Time!

This year I decided to paint pumpkins with Peyton instead of carving them. I figured he would enjoy it more. It was his first time using finger paints and he sure enjoyed it. I also found what I call Mr. Potatoe Head parts that he could just poke into the pumpkin. Here are a few pictures:

Everyone is asking if we have names picked out yet. Nope, no names. A few that we are considering, but nothing that we both are going, 'yep, thats the one'. Any suggestions, names you love? I feel like I've grown by leaps and bounds this past week and am really starting to get a belly on me. I have my next doctors appointment wednesday morning and am hoping to get another peek at the baby.

Other news is I have signed up to be a Memory Works Consultant. I was so sad (and still am) that Raining Fresh Daisies is closing. I thought it might be a good time to jump in. They offer great name-brand products I love. Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Fancy Pants, We R Memory Keepers, My Minds Eye, Scenic Route and Rusty Pickle to name a few. You can check out my website at http://mustangkayla.memory-works.com/ . Let me know if you are interested in ordering or having a party. I'm pretty low-key about it and there is no pressure at all...promise.

We had a great weekend. We went out to Shoji's Saturday night with Chris's family to celebrate his parents anniversary. It was a lot of fun and VERY YUMMY! Silly me forgot to take a few pictures. Guess we'll just have to go again! While in Bend we picked up Wii Mario Cart. If you haven't played it yet, you should try. It's pretty fun!

I did it!

I am so proud of myself! I used pink on a layout because I wanted too, not for a challenge! Lol....I am not a pink person at all. So finding out we have a baby girl on the way I am trying to adjust my thinking and liking of pink. Anyways, here is the layout I made.

Going to Town

Two mornings ago, Peyton asked me where we were going. I told him we had to go to town to run a few errands. He quickly ran and grabbed his hat (that his Mema knitted him) and his little backpack and proceeded to start shoving cars in it. I asked him if he thought he should get dressed first and put shoes on. His reply was, "No Mommy, I go in pajamas". The scrapbooker in me couldn't refuse grabbing the camera real quick. We hardly ever leave the house without his hat and backpack these days.

I'm 20 weeks!

I was 20 weeks yesterday and forgot to take a picture! But I got one this morning. I hate my pictures, so cropped my face out! The picture isn't all that great, I am bigger than I look in that photo. She sure likes to move around as soon as I lay down in bed. I think she was trying to stretch out my stomach last night and she kept pushing hard against my tummy. She also likes to kick her brother already. It seems every time I rock Peyton she starts kicking...already picking on him I guess.

I made this layout both for my mom for Christmas and a challenge at Citrus Tree. Since mom came over and saw it already, I figured I might as well put it on here.

Over at Scrapbook Dreamer I participated in a 5 week contest called "Dream Your A ScrapStar". I was going for a nice big fancy scrapbook tote. I made it to week for when my mojo left and life interupted my creativity. Needless to say I won't be posting that 4th layout on here. Here are the other three that I made.

Since the journaling is hard to read I had to create a page including 5 items on my bucket list (things to do before I die). Here is what I chose:

1. Own a 65 Convertible Mustang

2. Participate in a marathon or triathlon.

3. Go on another cruise (at least 7 days long this time)

4. Travel to Ireland

5. Own a secluded log cabin by a creek (or lake)

Yum...yum...

For all you blog hoppers like me, check out this blog: http://jenniferphillips.blogspot.com/ . Jenn (who is so darn sweet and very talented at scrapbooking) is giving away an awesome RAK. It includes CHOCOLATE! Something baby has been really liking lately. Can't seem to be able to keep it in the house. I think Peyton is sneeking it when I'm not looking...lol.

It's a.....

girl! Or at least we are pretty sure its a girl. I had my ultrasound this morning and the little kiddo was not cooperating. The ultrasound tech said the kiddo was curled up tight and low. I even rolled over a few times to try and get baby to move, but no such luck. Baby looks great and measure just a tad bigger than expected for my due date, so is taking after her big brother, who was a big baby! Here are some ultrasound pics that were printed off for me.

I thought this was a really cute how baby draped her arm over her head. Peyton still does this.

Pumpkin Co.

We went to the Pumpkin Co. this morning, also known as the 'Corn Maze' and the 'Pumpkin Patch'. It was the first time for all three of us. We started out walking through a ship made out of hay bales. Then went over to the corn maze where we were told that someone would give us a map. We didn't see anyone standing there so went inside anyways. Peyton thought it was pretty neat. He ran and ran and ran.

We found a big slide that we could climb up a flight of stairs and see where we were at.

After walking in a few circles we finally figured out which direction to go. Peyton had started to get tired so we decided not to go through the other 2 parts of the maze. In this picture he was telling us "I not tired, I ride pony."

They had a neat little barn where you could walk in and pet the VERY tame animals. I was shocked at the goats and pony that just laid and stood there as Peyton ran up to them to pet them. Peyton really liked the bunny. I think he needs his own little pet bunny don't you?

We finally made it to the pony ride which is what Peyton talked about wanting to do the whole time. He was so excited. I couldn't get him to look at us at all, he was so serious about riding the pony and holding on.

We will definitely be going back to the Pumkin Co. next year!

It's a Pumpkin Turkey!

I came across a really neat blog , Some Assembly Required, http://alter-nativefun.blogspot.com/, that had a really fun challenge this month. It was to alter a pumpkin, it could be any type of pumpkin (fake or real). I came up with an idea and here it is using a pumpkin from our own garden:
