Catch Up

Oh where do I start...We've been super busy lately. I guess I'll start with the latest happenings and work my way back!

My mom and I were supposed to go shopping for my 30th birthday Friday (Although my actual birthday is Monday). Maddy woke up puking so we had to cancel. :-( We decided to go Saturday morning instead, making sure to be back in time for my BBQ Saturday afternoon. Chris was going to stay home with the kids. Well, Peyton ended up getting the bug that Maddy had. :-( Sick kiddos makes me so sad, I hate seeing them so miserable. The BBQ was rescheduled for Sunday (today). That was until Chris came down with what the kids had last night! :-( I just hope I don't get it.

I ran upstairs to grab something real quick before heading out for a day of shopping with my mom Saturday morning. I saw a pile of hair on the floor! What question about it, it was Maddy's as it was curly! She was yelling something and saying Buddy (Peyton) did it, but we just ignored her as lately she has a tendency to blame things on Buddy when he is no where around and has nothing to do with whatever her issue is. Well, she was right this time. He fessed up to cutting her hair! :-0 I giggle now about it as I have been debating getting her hair cut and have gone back and forth on it. And to think that Peyton gave her her first cut! lol....
As you can see, it wasn't much and luckily her hair is so curly you can't tell! :-)

This is what I came home to after my day out with my mom:
Makes me so sad! I think Peyton was on that couch for at least 6 hours straight without getting up once. It was probably longer.

I realized I hadn't shared any Easter pictures! Better late than never, right?
A little Easter basket fun!
I found this 3-d book and Peyton got quite a kick out of it.
So did Chris....
So did Maddy!
This picture is bad, but I like it. The 3 older grandkids getting their Easter goodies from Mema. The littlest kiddo attempting to help Grandpa John and Chris play cribbage. He could care less about the Easter goodies! Rarely does a get together go by that a game of cribbage isn't played!
Isn't my nephew cute? Love his big smiles with itty bitty teeth showing!
The kiddos got ZhuZhu pets and had fun dusting the floors as they crawled after them. ;-)
And they are off on their Easter egg hunt in the front yard!

Thanks for stopping by! I have a few projects to share but need to wait til after Mother's Day to share them!
