Caardvarks Holiday Hop Day 3

Welcome! If you've come to my blog from anywhere other than Jen's blog you'll want to go to the Caardvarks blog and start from the beginning. This way you don't miss out on any beautiful inspiration! Plus Creative Cuts & More are giving away some fantastic prizes (the info is on the Caardvarks blog). You'll need to make sure and visit their blog and leave a comment for your chance to win!
I must admit, I saw this wine bottle decor at a store a while back and though, I could make that! And I did! I beaded a long wine and attached a little greeting card to the beaded wire. I used eyelets to create sturdy holes for the wine glass charms. I then wrapped the wire around the wine bottle. I created the wine charms from Creative Cuts & More's Polyshrink Snowflake #01 - Petite. I have never played with Polyshrink before so this was a complete experiment on my part. Boy was it fun. My 3 1/2 year old son had a blast watching the snowflakes shrink and has asked on numerous occasions if we can do that craft project again!

A close up of how I attached the wine glass charms!
A little tip: search clearance racks and isles for wine glass charms. I found these ones at Michael's on clearance for fifty cents! I just pulled off the charm they had on there and put the snowflake on. I also added a Beetle Black Jewel by Doodlebug (found at Creative Cuts & More) in the center of the snowflake.

Make sure to head over to Lila's blog for some more inspiration!
You'll want to make sure and sign up for the Creative Cuts & More newsletter. This way you can get the latest updates and exclusive coupons!
