Hello! So much to do...so little time! Seems to be my moto these days!
Have you ever tried to take a picture of a banner? Its SUPER hard! I tried and tried and this is the best I got.
The majority of the papers are My Minds Eye. I printed off a butterfly pattern I found on Wendy's blog and then cut and traced it onto patterned paper for the butterflies. Each frame was also traced and handcut and then inked.
The scalloped circles were cut with my Nestabilities and Cuddlebug. The little butterflies were punched using my Martha Stewart punch. LOTS of inking and layering! I tied each piece together using two different sheer ribbons. I LOVE how it came out and sure wish I would have thought to do something like this for Maddy's birthday. I still may try to do one (without the months) for both kids rooms. I think instead of the circles with months in them, different dinosaurs would be fun for Peyton and flowers and butterflies for Maddy.
I was shocked when I got Peyton to agree to take a picture with his teachers! These gals are the best! Peyton had such a great experience and really enjoyed having them as his teachers.
He has asked a handful of times how come he can't go to school anymore. I just hope he likes Kindergarten just as much! Peyton's graduation was on Thursday. My camera was acting up and the majority of the pictures came out blurry. :-( They sang a few songs for us.
They walked down the isle with their caps on.
Then we had cake and punch afterwards! These centerpieces were so cute!
Afterwards we headed back to our house to play a few games and celebrate some more!
A little sprinkler time. Maddy insisted on wearing shorts like Peyton.
It wasn't worth a battle, so that is what she wore!
Peyton actually ran through the sprinkler. Maddy did not.
Grandpa John decided to take a little nap. Maddy thought he needed a blanky on him, and of course, had to crawl up on him to get it on him properly!
And the graduate!

Fab banner, Kay! I know what you mean about getting a good shot - they're big & challenging...but you did great. :) The kid's pics crack me up!!! Congrats to Peyton! He's a big boy now!
The banner is awesome! Love it!
Way to go Peyton!
Congrats on the graduation!! Looks like it was a fun celebration. And I love your banner, the addition of the butterflies is so cute. And it's really hard getting a decent photo of banners!!
You rocked that banner!!! Congrats to Peyton! The photos of the kids were too cute (and a few rather funny).
