Citrus Tree Studio Challenges

Citrus Tree Studio has a Quick Fire Challenge going on this weekend. Cindy posted a great sketch and you just need to make a card or layout using that sketch and link or post it to that thread! A great prize is up for grabs.

Yes, as I said in a previous post, I struggle with cards. BUT, I am bound and determined to become 'decent' at them! haha! Here I used some fabulous Cosmo Cricket Earth Love papers, chipboard and trims/ribbons. The sentiment is a sticker from SRM.

Of course I had to stitch a little! This card is already in the mail to a friend that is having a rough go with her pregnancy! I remember those days well and remember how much I enjoyed getting cards and gifts in the mail when my DD was in the NICU.
I also wanted to share this layout using We R Memory Keepers Twirl line. This was for Patti's challenge at Citrus Tree Studio which was to use the colors orange and green!
It was just a quick and simple layout. I added the pleated paper on the bottom just to add a little flair since it was so simple.

And last but not least....Guess who likes hamburgers? Yep, that would be the Little Miss. She DOES NOT like you to break it up into little pieces, she wants a bite directly from the hamburger. Yep, my one year old has tried a hamburger before my almost 4 year old! Something is wrong with this picture!

So what does the little man eat? Well, french fries of course! heehee!

Your projects are great! Love paper pleating! :-) That's too funny about Maddy. Reminds me of when oldest dd was 1, she jammed a frech fry into the back of her throat, she had an aversion to french fries until she was a teenager! LOL

Wow you are so super talented! I love the card. Love the combination of papers and ( is it velvet?) that scallop. Perfect card ( with some of my fav colours!)
Cute as a button is darling! I love how you have layers that paper underneath the photo in that ruffle-esque pleated look - what line is that?

My boys are french fries fiends well! And she makes the cutest hamburger stealer in the WORLD!
